Cenz

Passionate about music since childhood, Cenz bought his first vinyl record in the late ’90s and began his career as a Hip-Hop DJ with the Bologna-based crew BPS Click.

Fascinated by Hip-Hop sampling techniques, he immediately began researching, immersing himself fully in black music. This curiosity would lead him to explore various genres over the years to come.

He also developed a passion for electronic music and in 2012 he joined as co-founder the DJ collective behind WHP Warehouse, an iconic party that marked a new chapter in Bologna’s clubbing scene.

In 2017, he co-founded No Diggity, a concept, and a party as well, that captures the spirit of ’90s/2000s Hip-Hop clubs, which resulted in the No Diggity EP Vol. 1 (white label vinyl) and which has a monthly residency in Bologna.

Cenz doesn’t like to be defined by a musical genre, he now loves to construct his sets as sonic journeys built on Hip-Hop, R’n’B, and House foundations that develop by exploring all kinds of influences and sounds.
